Silicon Coast Audio Andrew Lovett

The second in the Critical Connections series of talks continues at The Salt House, West Bay, Sunday June 24. Andrew will introduce excerpts from this new work and present Residual Thinking‚ discussing recent residencies in Bridport and Banff.

PVA MediaLab commissioned Andrew Lovett to make a new audio work in celebration of the 'silicon coast' and the studio's 10th year as an artist-led organisation. Andrew was in residence in November 2006 collecting sounds recorded on location and the voices of people who live nearby. A limited edition CD is available for sale and will be available at a number of selected 'listening posts' along the coast very soon.
